The Red Wing Shoes Beckman 9423 Black Excalibur is a classic Red Wing Shoes 6-inch Round work shoe and is made in Red Wing, Minnesota. The 9423 Beckman Black Excalibur is part of the Classic Beckman collection. The Beckman is named after the companies founder: Charles Beckman, a German immigrant who founded the Red Wing Shoe Company in 1905. When Mr. Beckman was walking the unpaved and mudddy streets of Red Wing, MN he needed a solid and sturdy boot that could be polished to match his status as a business entrepreneur. The Excalibur leather is the highest quality leather, made from the finest hides available. The Red Wing 9423 Beckman has a supreme leather Gro-Cord outsole with Vibram rubber traction which provides grip on any surface and comes with black waxed flat laces.
